1967 Impala convertible
Martin J. Baronner, Duncansville

“Since 1972 I have owned four 1967 Impala convertibles. Three have been red super sports and one was a black standard Impala. This one I have owned the longest [20 years] and it’s the most desirable because of all its options, which include cruise control, electric windows, disc brakes, tilt wheel, AM-FM radio, eight-track tape deck, tissue dispenser, head rests, dual exhaust and positraction rearend. It’s equipped with the 327/275 H.P. engine with a 400 turbo transmission. It has 90,000 original miles on it. I’ve only put 12,000 miles on it in the 20 years that I have owned it. I take it to the local cruise-ins. It’s not a show car, just a nice cruiser.” |
