1971 Plymouth Roadrunner
Shelby Civils, Lakemont

Description: “This original sunroof car, 1 of 82, was bought by my dad (Todd Civils) in 1999 as a gift to my mom (Lori Clark). He knew they had to have it because it brought those downtown memories back for both of them.
“When buying this muscle car, (the color) was B-5 Blue with three quarter vinyl white top, but Dad wouldn’t stand for that. So after going over the fender tag and build sheet, it went to its original (color), violet metallic. Most people think the color is Plum Crazy, but actually, that is a Dodge color. The three quarter vinyl top went back to black, done by George Clapper. The paint job was done by Gary’s Customs in Salix, and all the engine work on our 383 bored .030 over with a 484 cam was done by Randy McConnell.
“We have lots of fun in our ride and go to lots of car shows and cruises. We also belong to the Blair County Antique Auto Club. So if you see us around town (in our Roadrunner), just ‘beep-beep...’’’ |
